Session Work

Michael offers session work focused on the banjo with or without the Bloom Bow. The banjo can either be acoustic or amplified with pedals and effects. He can do the equivalent of a “string quartet” with the bowed banjo in one take, or even layer several tracks to create a very lush string sound. He can also add cello and violin to create a fuller, more symphonic sound that’s completely unique. He is an experienced arranger and can compose custom scores tailored to your project.
